How Shakyamuni Buddha abandons earthly life and pleasure

佛祖本来是印度王子，叫乔达摩•悉达多。他从小就喜欢问“为什么”，还常常问一些别人觉得荒唐的问题，比如同样是人，为什么地位差得那么远？他不相信这是 上天的安排，要找到一个让人人平等的办法。他19岁时结婚，妻子为他生了一个儿子。但这个时候，人间的疾苦已经在他的心里种下了出家修道的种子。离开家之 前他悄悄走过妻子的房间，看见她怀抱着儿子在熟睡，想走进去看上一眼，但他终于还是决定舍弃这一切，踏上了寻找幸福的永生的道路。

fó zǔ běn lái shì yìn dù wáng zǐ , jiào qiáo dá mó • xī dá duō . tā cóng xiǎo jiù xǐ huān wèn " wéi shén me ", hái cháng cháng wèn yī xiē bié rén jiào dé huāng táng de wèn tí , bǐ rú tóng yàng shì rén , wéi shén me de wèi chā dé nà me yuǎn ? tā bù xiāng xìn zhè shì shàng tiān de ān pái , yào zhǎo dào yī gè ràng rén rén píng děng de bàn fǎ . tā shí jiǔ suì shí jiē hūn , qī zǐ wéi tā shēng le yī gè ér zǐ . dàn zhè gè shí hòu , rén jiān de jí kǔ yǐ jīng zài tā de xīn lǐ zhǒng xià le chū jiā xiū dào de zhǒng zǐ . lí kāi jiā zhī qián tā qiǎo qiǎo zǒu guò qī zǐ de fáng jiān , kàn jiàn tā huái bào zhe ér zǐ zài shú shuì , xiǎng zǒu jìn qù kàn shàng yī yǎn , dàn tā zhōng yú hái shì jué dìng shě qì zhè yī qiē , tà shàng le xún zhǎo xìng fú de yǒng shēng de dào lù .

The Supreme Buddha was originally a prince in India named Siddhartha. From an early age, he liked to question, and often meditated about questions that others thought absurd. For example, we are all the same so why is it that we differ so much in status? He wouldn't believe that it was destiny and wanted to find a way to make everyone equal. He was married when he was nineteen, and his wife gave him a son. But by this time, pain and suffering in the world had sown a seed in his heart, which made him abandon worldly life and pleasures to be a recluse and meditate. Before he went away from home, he passed the room of his wife and saw her sleeping, holding their son. He wanted to go over and have a close look. But finally, he decided to forsake all this and set off on the path to find eternal life and happiness.
